Artemisia
Artemisia annua, also known as sweet wormwood, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years to combat fever and infections. To date, more than 240 different secondary plant substances have been isolated and detected in the leaf tips of Artemisia, including artemisinin. Furthermore, they contain numerous polyphenols.
Our artemisia plants are grown organically in Switzerland, then harvested and processed by hand in our controlled production facility. You can view our organic certification by clicking here. For the highest quality product, we only use the dried leaf tips and never any stems or lignified parts. We use a special breed that contains more than 1% artemisinin, much higher than common Artemisia annua.
